My Nook Changing Pad

So I have been in love with the Nook Sleep System for years! I knew when I got pregnant that this was going to be one of my ‘must-have’ purchases. I’m a huge believer in non-toxic mattresses. A newborn sleeps for close to 16hrs a day, sometimes even more. Why on earth would you put them to sleep on a mattress that is filled with harmful toxins, like chemicals fire retardants & waterproofing additives? Probably because you had no idea those harmful chemicals were in your mattress. If you have to air out your mattress before using it, that might be a clue there’s a lot of chemicals in it.

So, I met with Nook Sleep Systems way back at the ABC Kids Expo way back in 2011. I was able to check out their mattresses, Lilypad play mat, & changing pad then. Last fall, at the same show, I was able to see their  new adult pillows, and they just came out with twin & full size mattresses for kids and adults.

I am totally in love with the look of these, not to mention that the pebbling helps with the airflow. The colors are fantastic! So vibrant, yet so relaxing. Also doesn’t hurt that their materials are sourced from North America & products are made there, too! I’ll make sure to take lots of pics when our nursery is all put together!
