One of the products that I knew I had to have in my Hot Products Showcase for the Saratoga Baby Expo was the SunSnapz maxi cover. This is such an awesome, universal product I definitely recommend it to parents. I was sent the Maxi blanket to test out and showcase at the Expo. When it came I was immediately impressed with the quality of the sewing and the quality of the fabric. I can see this lasting through multiple kids. It also is available in a wide variety of really trendy colors. The one that I was sent for review was the coral color Maxi.
Here are more my thoughts (and lots of pics!):
So the way the SunSnapz blankets work is that there are a series of snaps and grommets around the edges. So you can stretch and attach it to different things.
The blankets by SunSnapz are made of 50+ UPF fabric, which essentially means they block 98%-99% of the suns rays.
I demo’d it on our stroller. (A Maxi-Cosi Kaia for those of you who are wondering)
It was just the right size to not be dragging on the ground. I was easily able to attach it to the handle bars with the snaps in the corner.
Since it is mainly white, it doesn’t get super hot for the tiny person inside. However, the fabric is a heavier cotton/spandex so make sure that you do have ventilation when using it so as not to overheat your child.
I can easily see us taking this with us on many occasions over the summer. Especially for when the mosquitos start coming out to bite. Since it stretches and has the snaps it really conforms to any shape. With the snaps and grommet system you are able to stretch it over awkward shapes and still have a nice snug fit.
Some of the examples from the SunSnapz website include using it on the top of a pack and play (so smart for when you’re outdoors or camping!!), using it as a nursing cover, stretching it over your baby’s activity floor gym, and so many other uses! View more here and on their Facebook page.
