A Very Special Barnyard Birthday with Minted

Back in September a very special little lady turned 2, my little Laney. Laney is a huge animal lover and I almost immediately knew that we were going to do a barnyard birthday bash! I was thrilled to find a bunch of farm party options on one of my favorite stationary sites, Minted.com. For birthdays I love to go all out, you love your child year round but birthdays are just a fun day to make their world all about them. This party was a giant mash up of Minted party goodies, live farm animals, Pinterest ideas, and just pure mama creativity. Minted made it so easy to get all the paper products and almost all the decorations in one easy swoop.

They have these great party decor packages available in almost any theme you can imagine. Depending on the one you get, they include things like the decorations that match your invites, party plates, cups and napkins, fun straws, stickers, confetti, birthday crowns, and more! We went with the Barnyard Crew Dream Party Decor pack and I was blown away with all the stuff. You can even customize some of the signs and banners!

We had a ton of party guest in a lot of different age ranges, so it was a little challenging to come up with games and activities that all the kids would like. But apparently the ones we picked were huge hits! I printed pig faces onto pink paper and we used Glue Dots to stick them onto balloons. The kids had to keep rounding up all the piggies to get them back in the pen (just made with stakes and crepe paper). Then we used our kiddie pool and filled it with corn horse feed (found at Tractor Supply) and hid some small farm animal figurines in it. The third game was just an egg hunt with eggs that we placed throughout the lawn and had put some animal crackers inside for a snack. Fun for hours!

Where are all these goodies from?!
